About us

Meet the founders of Cornerstone Property Services, James Gagnon and Byron Abarca.

James Gagnon, Partner & CEO: In 2015, building on 20-year career in sales and product development, James embarked on a career in real estate launching GPI Homes. He was responsible for acquisitions and project management for property rehabs. In 2016, he launched Cornerstone Property Management in Baltimore. He has managed investment properties for over 250 clients to help them maximize their rental portfolios. In 2018, Byron brought his decades of contracting experience and expanded the business, running all aspects of property maintenance, renovations, and restoration. And In 2022, James & Byron founded Cornerstone Property Services, a company dedicated to helping investors improve their assets with upgrades, remodels, additions and more.
